New images from the game The Darkness II
The gaming world still receive a hero dark, away from the typical qualities of kindness and sacrifice. Jack Estacado is motivated by revenge, and to fulfill their desires using the powers of darkness in an action title and shooting with supernatural elements.
The Darkness 2 is being developed by Digital Extremes (Bioshock, PS3) and prepares to launch in late 2011.
The story will once again be in charge of the famous writer Paul Jenkins, who will do dive into a dark story with the typical twisted humor of the comic and totally original, parallel to what happens to Jack Estacado in its paper edition.
Two years after the events of the first game, Jack is the new ‘Don’ of the Franchetti family. Has stopped using his occult powers for revenge and is dedicated to living a quiet life keeping your business and gang warfare at acceptable levels.
But after suffering an attack while dining at a restaurant, the dark powers and memories of his dead girlfriend Jenny will lead again to visit New York seeking revenge using the powers of darkness to suffer all kinds of designs to rivals.
If you liked The Darkness first, then get ready because of what has been seen so far this sequel to The Darkness 2 will bring back the best of the original.
The arms appear demonic shadows, unbridled action, gunfire and a graphic section that fits great game to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
