Smokin ‘Guns is an open source game based on the famous Quake III Arena engine. It was released in 2003 under the name of Western Quake 3 and then the beta stopped its implementation until 2005, it takes a group of players calling themselves the Smokin ‘Guns (smoking guns).

Begin working with the blessing of former team and changed its name to the current game.

Smokin ‘Guns are meant to be a fairly realistic simulation of the action that was set in the Wild West.

His scenes are inspired by scenes from film and arms fully correspond with those used at the time.

To increase the “atmosphere of gunmen” also music and sounds have adapted to that period of history.
